Server-Assistants are the lifeblood of our service team.
A server-assistant backs up their servers and addresses any gaps in service ensuring that every guest at prasino enjoys a truly exceptional experience.
This is a crucial role as it greatly impacts the efficiency and quality of service. The Server-Assistant must be impeccably well groomed. They must be professional and have a high sense of self esteem. They must be motivated and enjoy working with people of all types. They must have great patience, good communication skills and great work ethic.

Functions
• Ensures that the dining room, lobby and service areas are clean, stocked and visually appealing at all times.
• Maintains thorough familiarity with all standard of proper service etiquette and adheres to these standards.
• Provides water service, after guest have been seated, and replenish throughout service.
• Assists servers with general service; supporting the removal of completed courses from the table.
• Proactively approaches and acknowledges all guests in a friendly, warm and welcoming manner
• Clears and resets dirty tables as quickly and quietly as possible after guests .
• Works together with other server assistants to ensure optimum efficiency.
• Attends all scheduled staff meetings and supplemental training sessions.
• Contributes to a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that enables positive cooperation with guests, vendors, co-workers, and management.
• Performs any other duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager and/or the Assistant Restaurant Manager.
• Knows table and position numbers, and be able to fulfill role as food runner as dictated by the schedule.
• Demonstrates the effective and conscientious use of materials and effective and efficient use of time.
